Selling Basics

Keeping in mind these basic requirements will set you up for success on Galileo Marketplace.

  1. What can be sold on Galileo protocol

    Galileo Marketplace offers a carefully curated selection of luxury categories, allowing sellers to showcase premium products to discerning buyers. Our permitted categories include:

    • Fine Jewelry

    • High-end Watches

    • Designer Accessories (without size selection)

    • Luxury Beauty & Fragrances

    • Premium Home Decors

    • Luxury Handbags & Wallets

    • Luxury Travel Accessories

    • Exclusive Art & Collectibles

    • High-end Electronics & Gadgets

    • Wine and Spirits

    If you sell items on Galileo Marketplace, you agree that:

    1. Only brands are eligible to register and list items on the platform.

    2. All items listed are accurately described.

    3. You provide clear information about the origin and manufacturing process of items in your Brands About section.

    4. You use original photographs or video content – not stock photos, artistic renderings, or images sourced from other sellers or websites.

    5. All listings are available for purchase at a set price.

  2. What cannot be sold on Galileo Marketplace

    At this moment, Galileo Marketplace does not support the sale of certain items that require additional selections of options such as sizes or colors. These restricted items include:

    • Clothes

    • Shoes

    • Food and beverages (except alcohol)

    Even if they meet our marketplace criteria, items, services, or content that do not offer a physical item for sale are not permitted on Galileo Marketplace. All listings must offer an item for sale. Creating listings for the purpose of sharing referral codes, posting want ads, or engaging in similar activities that do not involve the sale of a tangible or digital item is not allowed. Please be aware that members or, in some cases, third parties, may flag listings that appear to violate our policies for review by Galileo Marketplace. Galileo may remove any listings that violate our policies. Please note that listing/setup fees(In case applicable) are non-refundable. Galileo may also suspend or terminate your account for any violations, and you will still be responsible for any outstanding fees on your Galileo statement.   3. Seller Account and Pre-requisites

    Once the Galileo Protocol team verifies and accepts your seller application, you will receive your login credentials for the platform.

    A MetaMask wallet is required to operate in the Marketplace. If you don't have one, you can create a MetaMask wallet and learn the basics here. The Galileo team will also conduct support sessions to help you use the Seller portal and list your products.

    Alternatively, you can choose the Galileo Wallet Management service, where the Galileo team will create and manage the crypto wallet for you. More information can be found at the Galileo's Wallet Management Service section.

  4. Managing your Brand and Listings

    Your brand and listings serve as your representation within the Galileo Marketplace community. It's crucial that you ensure honesty and accuracy in how you present yourself and your business.

    By selling on Galileo Marketplace, you agree to the following:

    • Provide honest, accurate information to Galileo Marketplace, including in your dedicated Brand section.

    • Ensure that all content within your shop, such as text, photos, or videos, complies with Galileo's policies.

    • Accurately depict your items in listings and listing photos.

    • Respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe someone has infringed upon your intellectual property rights, please report it to Galileo.

    • Refrain from engaging in fee avoidance practices.

    • Avoid taking any actions (such as manipulating clicks, carts, or sales) with the intent to manipulate search results or circumvent Galileo's policies.

    • Do not coordinate pricing with other sellers.

  5. Seller Standards and Service Level Requirements

    When listing a product for sale on Galileo Marketplace, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the products you list, including any required labels and warnings. Galileo Marketplace assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, labeling, or content of your listings.

    Meeting Service Level Standards

    As a seller on the Galileo Marketplace, it is imperative to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain trust with your buyers. Please ensure that all communications with buyers are conducted via email, with hello@galileoprotocol.io included in CC. Galileo Marketplace may contact you if your shop fails to meet these standards.

    By selling on Galileo Marketplace, you agree to:

    • Honor your dispatch and processing times. Sellers are required to dispatch an item or complete a transaction with a buyer promptly, unless there is an exceptional circumstance. Please note that legal requirements for dispatch times may vary by country. Read more in our Delivery Policy.

    • Respond to Emails in a timely manner.

    • Resolve disagreements or order issues with the buyer via email with with hello@galileoprotocol.io included in CC. In the event that a resolution cannot be reached, Galileo can assist through our case system. Learn more about your rights and responsibilities regarding in Dispute Resolution section.

    • If you are unable to complete an order, contact Galileo for extended assistance.
